Upcoming Hunt

cx3

New member
Wednesday my detecting buddy and I are heading to north central N.C. and detect the yard of a home that was built in 1840 and has never been detected. The home and property has been in the same family for that entire time the farm consists of around 600 ac. I have deer hunted this property for 24 years and tried metal detecting the yard on one other occasion but an electric fence drove my detector ( XLT ) crazy. But this time the fence will be turned off. This will be the maiden flight for the V3. Wish us luck.

Sounds like that could be an interesting hunt Jerry. Good luck.

Good luck, Jerry. You all should find lots of old goodies. Be sure to overlap your swings so you miss as little as possible. Will look forward to your posts of the trip.

Oh my...I can't tell you how jealous I am. I bet you find some awesome things. Please post photos and stories ;-)
