Up against the wall, Fongu * 3 rings

I went to the old swimming hole and couldn't get anything done due to the overgrowth and there was something about the water I didn't like and I decided to go to the river. They have a retaining wall there and I ususally don't mess around much because of the unreal amount of trash. My patience and persistence paid off even tho I was so tired I nearly threw a small 10K ring back in the water. My next project is to build a sifter. My scoop was full of gravel and shells and thankfully I saw the gleam of gold before dumping my scoop. The first target I had was a dime and I scooped and still had the dime target and scooped again and then a third time and I was wondering why the dime was moving around so much when I tried to scoop it up and then I checked my scoop after not hearing the signal and found all three dimes in my scoop. Each was a 81 on the DVI. I don't think too good when I'm tired and I forgot my pain meds again and just couldn't figure out why everything was such a struggle. I found the first ring after the dimes and it was a sterling silver 92.5 from china and then a ring that I'm not sure is anything special and then the gold ring. Total clad was 2 quarters, 4 dimes and 10 pennies and 7 cents from last weeks bad trip. I found some type of token with the word Jumbo on both sides and stars top and bottom.
There were so many targets up against the wall, but the little pip sound pulled the rings out of the trash.

Now THAT'S a good water hunt!! A sifter is a must and you can build one in about an hour and they will really help when you get into a spot with multiple targets like you had.

Very Nice!! Way to hang in there and pull off a three ring day!

Great post about some tough hunting, and not giving up!:clapping: Yeah, those multi coin spills in the water are tough to chase..especially with gravel or shells. Really happy you got some gold, you've been working it hard and deserved it! :clapping:
