Unusual Night At The Beach

foreverRich

New member
Went to Virginia Beach last night to escape the heat. Had some really surprising coin finds along with the usual clad. The 1964 nickel looks like new. The Canada dime looks almost proof like and the 1919 penny was a real shocker!! Here is my loot for the evening.

yes you did a great job looting the beach !!
What a pirate :detecting:
good luck

nice finds! and great pictures what kind of camera do you have?

I use a Pentax Opto S55. It does a good job in macro. The only thing bad about it is that it eats batteries.

great haul- where were those coins and how deep-they were very well preserved

Found them all in the dry sand, no more than 5 or 6 inches deep. The age and condition is what blew me away.

Very nice night hunt! Yes the coin conditions on those select coins is surprising. Must be good karma!
