I got out for a poor Surf Church yesterday. No Gold and No Silver. The best find was a British Pound coin with a palm sprouting out of a crown on the obverse.

Fortunately, I went to a Mate's BBQ in the afternoon and as the sun was setting he pulled out his poker chips for a friendly little game.

Winner took 75% of the buy ins and 2nd place got 25%, at $50 a head for a buy in and 8 players that put the total pot at $400. The host took 2nd place and I took the big prize - $300.00 The day wasn't a total loss afterall.

The money in the States is getting as colorful as that funny money. I watch the late night poker channel as much as possible, Man one would think it would be boring but it is very intertaining to me when you can see the hands and the bluffs....what a riot......I got a buddy who is into it on line and his brother is claiming it as a parttime job....its tempting .....looks like fun. Glad you won some dough!
