1850 ca., Pittsburgh PA, Morse Literary Depot, obvse


MP Morse appears only twice in the Pittsburgh directories. In the 1847directory his literary depot is listed at 4th St., between Wood and Market ; ... MP Morse appears in the 1850 census under Pittsburgh. He was 28 years old in 1850; his place of birth is listed as Massachusetts, and occupation "Literary Depot" (Morse research courtesy of Jim Hartman, Beaver, PA) [source US Tokens by Ralau].
