Unknown Old Tractor..............

Kelley (Texas)

New member
This old tractor is sitting out in a field in the Northeast part of Bexar County, Texas, at what appears to be some type of horse training farm. It is rusty and there does not appear to be any attempt to preserve it, it is just rusting away. I have no idea what brand it could be, or even how old it might be, just don't know.

This was a very difficult picture for me to take because of the position of the sun, I just did the best that I could do under the circumstances. Kelley (Texas) :)

I think it came out great! That is one cool tractor....looks pretty stylish for a farm tool.....would love to see someone restore that!

the position of the sun? I was partially almost shooting the picture partly into the sun with no sunshade on the lens. I had one heck of a time getting a correct exposure, but somehow I did get a reasonable correct exposure, and did not have to do much photo editing. I almost did not post this picture, just did not like the lighting situation. Kelley (Texas) :)

great shot of the old tractor.. looks like you and the camera did pretty darn good there. would be nice if someone would preserve it. not even paint it...just not let it get worse

Looks like it could be pretty wicked also. Great picture and I'm glad you decided to post it.

Looks similar to the John Deer model "d" tractors.I think they were designed by a famous designer of the time but don't know why.Like Dave says.....looks to pretty to do farm work.....but I bet it paid for itself many times over.

Turned out very nice and clear. Wonderful composition with the horse in the background.:super:
