Unknown Finding

Found this rock with something eroding on it but am unsure what it could be and it is not magnetic. Any help would be great. Also, it was found in Missouri near Woods Fork river. Here is another photo that might be clearer.

If you are anywhere close to a University you can take it to the Geology Dept and someone can ID it fairly quickly…..
