Unknown "Coin"

Howdy--

I dug this unknown coin, token or play coin recently and I was curious as to what it is. I have dug plenty of tokens and play coins over the years but I have never seen anything quite like this. Any Ideas? I'm not sure of its composition but it looks like aluminum. The silver dime is for size reference. Thanks! Best of luck and...

That is referred to as a Widows Mite.
They were/are given out in churches.
