got a strange signal, which read +94 on the DFX and had the real high pitched sound that is sometimes associated with hotrocks, or rocks with high metal/mineral content. The signal was real consistent tho and dug this out at 11-12" i was hunting in the woods by a field, which was supposed to have been a camp area when the Hessians were marched from NY. I saw the shield and thought I had a Rev. War relic. At first the shield seemed to be gold, but I now think pewter, still have to google it. have a good one.
