Spent last 2 days in the evening after work hunting cw campsite. Found several nice interesting artifacts. Some I can identify and some I cannot. But I sure had a blast finding them, he he! The Token was a suprise. It says, KANSAS CITY SOUVINER and on the other side it has a date of 1887 with someones name on it. Can't read it yet, will soak in olive oil for awhile. The bullets sure were nice digging up though! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
Hi Steve; some appear period, some post war. The tool on the far right I believe to be period. I've found them in Art'y positions. The grommet if period would be from a tent. Snap swivel looks postwar. Hard to tell on some items due to the dark pic. What appears to be a small grommet would be from a rain poncho (India rubber). Good hunting, David @ Dixie

However, I suspect it is a little too light for "wagon duty" but if it were to fit a nut head, they would use it if practical. Does look period though.
