Union Camp Lead

Back before it fully heated up, my friend Matt and I went back to the Union camp firing range area that we had hit over the winter. It is a cavalry camp along a major supply road. Our wives dropped us off for a hunt while they hit the winery. We found quite a few, but every time we got what sounded like a good signal and tried to video tape a live dig, it turned out to be junk! Curse of the camera, I suppose. We ended up with a good haul of lead and as a bonus, we each found a dead small buck that we saved the heads off of. Don't know what killed them, they were not missing any parts.
