Uniform Item

Today I went back to a park where I dug $9.75 in clad and some Lincolns earlier this month . I had not covered much of the park last trip. Still a lot of the park has not been covered after two trips. I have to park outside the park and walk in as they only open the gates when someone has a ball game or practice (Soccer or Football) scheduled. Had the park to myself today.

Today I dug an even $10.00 in clad and 25-30 lincolns. Also dug up the pictured Military Uniform Item. It measures 1 and 3/4 inches in diameter. I have not been able to get the encrustation of the back to be able to see how it was attached.

This OLD man is a little tired this evening.

It seems that I have seen one like this some time in the past but my memory may be faulty. So far I have not been able to locate any information online about the piece.

Jesse you are the second person to identify that item. It very well could be a U S Calvary Bridle Rosette. It is the correct size and shape. It was found at a city park that was established in 1990 on the site of a former Southern Plantation. Thanks for the information .
