Unexpected Silver?

Atlas

Went back to the spot where I found the gold ring and Good for Token. Working through the trash- lots of iron at this location. Got a 12/39 signal and down about 3-4" I found this Silver thimble. It is in perfect shape with no pinholes etc. It is marked with the owners name "Lillian" and the size which looks like a #6. However there is no silver mark which is kind of a drag. I checked it out of the ground and it rings up 13-14/44-46 so based on conductivity I'd say it is in fact silver. I did a quick search and there are silver thimbles that are unmarked.

Found a few clad and nothing else of note on this short 2 hour hunt. Kind of a cool find. I've found other thimbles that were made of aluminum and were always crushed.

That is a nice one and and looks like silver to me.

Way cool. Luv them thimbles

If it's heavy and uncorroded it is most likely silver.
As well it is engraved~~would not seem as likely as a thing to engrave a junk-metal thimble.

WTG Atlas!!
