Hi Guys,
I had a couple of hours in the afternoon to kill so I decided to revisit one of my old honey holes that I had hunted out last year. Perhaps there was a wheat penny or two that I missed. However, my hopes of finding any silver were low. To my surprise, there were coins everywhere .. it was like I never hunted the place. I had a lot of fun but the experience was also a bit humbling ... how could I have missed all of these targets? My only explanation is that the harsh winter had moved things around due to the heavy frost ... the ground was still frozen below six inches in some spots. Many of the coins had iron with them but there was no doubt that they were there. I guess it doesn't matter how long you've been at this hobby ... there always more to learn. Here's a pic of my finds.
Thanks for looking!
