Unexpected Big Silver

Found a 1938 British Half Crown today at a spot where they just moved an old house from, never woud have expected to find one of these in South Carolina. Someone punched an X on the center of the obverse. It is 50% silver, so I'll take it. I also found a 1957 Roosevelt, 5 Wheats and a 40 cal. machine gun shell casing. Any day you find silver is a good day. Sorry about the crappy pics, my tablet is not much of a camera.

probably was brought home after WW2. i've found a lot of british large cents in that time frame.
