Called the unemployment office and found out my checks were being held due to a 'red flag'. Seems when I worked extra hours to cover for others I earned too much (well what really is too much????). Anyway I made more than unemployment pays me and they thought I went back to work full time - I wish. So they withheld the money. Here we thought the mail person gave it to someone else or it was lost or something. We didn't know and the unemployment office didn't send any info about any 'problem' or 'red flag' to let me know there was a problem.
I talked with the lady at the unemployment office via phone and found out alot. I think God smiles when He sees how my jaw dropped as she told me how much money I was owed and that lump sum check would be on its way today. Sherry is still (well so am I) in amazement. Sherry figures with this check we will have our bills caught up. Thank you Jesus and thank you Father.
The shortwave radio sold on eBay overnight. Money from it will not have to be used for bills after all. Mike I'll be sending you that money for the Iron Brigade shirt as soon as I can - and club dues for another year as well.
At our church our minister has been getting us to say "God is Great - All the time and All the time God is Great" and has added to it so now we are saying "God is Great All the time - And He does Great things". And He sure does!!!!!
