Undetected totlots

[attachment 57415 5thAve.park002.jpg]Today I found three tiny play areas (just a basketball court, totlot) in residential neighborhoods in a small city near by. All had a new layer of chips put down in the totlots. Most jewelry I ever found in one day, and all of it came from one totlot, the other two gave up just coins, no jewelry. All the deeper coins in the totlots turned dark so they were there a long time, to me that means virgin territory. The gold bracelet is 18K, has a charm missing. The other two are 925 silver, and some silver earrings, and rings, plus what looks like a nose ring to me, and two pieces of junk jewelry. I'm learning that virgin territory is still out there. Oh yea, the bracelets were laying on top, just barely covered. The bracelet clasps are not broken and hold tight, so how did they they get lost. These things will go to family members, if they want. I don't save them. Had a fun day.

What you swing, totlot man:twodetecting::twodetecting:

I'm using my Vaquero with 8 x 9" coil, discriminator set to reject nails only. Detects non ferrous metal about the size of a BB, use the Vibra Probe sometimes on these tiny pieces.

areas of the city that I normally don't venture into. An elderly black ladie walked over to me from across the street and was hostile about me being in her (it's public) playground, but I showed her all the scrap metal in my pouch then she said "God bless you". Otherwise, no problems.
