Underwater

You can use it in water as long as you DON'T get the control box wet. The coil is waterproof, the control box is not. Also you don't want to raise your coil higher than the control box after you've been detecting in the water. The rod is hollow and water will run into the box. :rant: And that would kill it. If you hunt in salt water, clean your detector coil, rod, etc. after hunting. Good to go! HH to all, Nancy
