Underwater finds

Here are my weekend finds. This does not show the bucketfull of fishing we me and my buddy found. The signals were numerous and this was my first hunt with the CTX 3030. The waves were bad and I tried at first using the stock coil...but I soon realized either this coil is too big or this machine is not for me. I went and installed the six inch coil and there was no turning back! What a difference!!! This coil is hot and as you can see...has no problem in salt water. The only falsing I got was when I pulled the coil out of the water to swing it over my sifter. The top two coins are now my oldest...a 1778 1 Reale and a 1801 1 Reale. I ended up with 36 three ringers and spencers, 2 musket balls, 3 flat buttons, 2 eagle buttons, 2 canteen spouts, 2 pants buttons, a belt plate belt keeper and a few whatsits. This machine is an animal! And I truly like that it semi-floats. Thanks for all the tips.

Wow. Not bad Keith. We would be freezing up here if we were in the water...

Yeah....we thought the water was going to be cold so we put out waders on....we soon realized that was a mistake! LOL. Water temp was still up so we hunted in shorts. The two Reales are very worn....had to get a loop out to see the dates.

Congrats on the Reales and great assortment of relics. And thanks for identifying the canteen spouts. I would have only been guessing as to what those were. Nicely done. HH Randy
