Underwater Detectors..again

Why PI for freshwater?

I use it in saltwater but I'm more draw to the freshwater spots.

I like the Minelab but unless I found one used I'll probably stay in the 600+ range.

You don't mind finding every piece of iron known to man in freshwater, have at it... ;)

Thanks

Sounds like the White's Beach Hunter ID 300 id the one.

Is there any difference between the Beach Hunter ID 300 and the older Beach Hunter ID besides the coil?

Just the coil... electronics are the same and you are making a wise choice :)

Cool.

Last question:

How much difference is that coil going to make? Or better yet what is it going to give me that the older coil doesn't

The new coil is going to give you more depth that's what we want isn't it? :) It will also allow you to cover more ground...
