Underwater detector???

Active member
I saw an underwater detector at a pawnshop today. The only identifier on it was the word Underwater. It had two knob controls and a set of head phones that looked like they had a small hole in the ear piece and an ear bud type of plug that went in the hole. Any idea who made this machine? The pawnie was asking $175. so I kinda thought well he doesn't know the value or the maker either or maybe he does.

LOL I would RUN also!! Any pawn shop would have looked it up. I run a pawn shop sometime. The owners business.and he also owns this computer shop. Bet he didn't pay 20.00 for it.

Thanks fellas for the info. The unit was black with silver writing. Having worked in a Pawn partime to try and snag some deals, I know he probably paid no more than $30. for it on a buy and probably allowed about $50. on a pawn. It had the appearance and feel of a cheap machine. Sometimes our broker would try to find out what something was but if it looked good he would allow a few more dollars on a pawn in hopes the person would pay the interest for awhile so he would get his money back and may still have something to sell.
