Underwater detecting!

Golden

Member
Gidday all. I just enjoyed a great few days break at the beach with hubby and son, diving for buried treasure. Came up with 5 silver rings, 1 silver pendant, 1 gold pendant, $51.91 in coins, sinkers as usual and a heap of other bits and pieces. My hubby managed to finish putting together his new electric hookah that he designed and it worked like a breeze. Gave us 3.5 hours of air for two divers. Anyway that's me detecting underwater on the hookah and my hubby and son with the hookah on the surface, and a range of underwater life. Hope you enjoy the photos! Cheers.

Hey Golden, I'm waiting on the delivery of my Excal. Supposed to get here Wednesday....Looks like you had a good trip!!!!!!!! larry

Hi Larry, apparently the latest Excals have the yellow headphones and look far better, don't spin around and are sturdier. Hubby wants to buy another Excal for me as he hardly gets to use ihis own! I'm on it most of the time while he takes the photos! I find that the blue headphones sometimes come apart in the water, the earpiece comes off, and you have to watch for it. Anyway, you won't know yourself once you start using your new machine. It's got good depth, I've had to have help in getting the targets out of the sand as they are sometimesburied deep in the water, and the sand caves in too quickly so an extra pair of hands come in handy from time to time. Let me know when you get it, and how you go with it! Love to know.

It's great to see other Aussies posting underwater finds, I hope you get heaps more. Do you Prospect down in Vic? I'll be going for an extended trip to Vic either this year or next. Depends on the amount of gold I get at Clermont and out at Warwick. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:
