Understanding The User Profile Function

unearth

Member
Hoping to get some clarification on how the used profile works. Here is how it's working on my machine. I'm in factory park 1, detect mode. I reject certain numbers in park 1. Now, I press the user profile button, wait for the beep that tells me the profile has been recorded. Now I'm in the user profile. Here is my question...when I press the user profile button again to get out of the user profile, I have to restore park 1 back to the original settings that I changed, correct?

Yes, That is correct because the detector automatically saves your changes to the factory programs.

All you have to do is hold the detect button in & the machine will reset to factory default for that mode.

So is that like holding into pinpoint or initiating pinpoint and holding afterwards?
Is this in the manual somewhere?

It is in the manual . Page 12 ...reset a search profile.
