Under water pinpointer

Hi guys, does anyone use an underwater pin pointer? Is it much use? I am thinking of buying a vibratech 580. I use my pro pointer on the beach, and I did need it underwater a few times on my last trip away, but I'm not sure if I would use it much when I'm wading. I think it might be useful for sandy beaches that have bedrock under the sand. where I can snorkel..........a bit like snipping for gold? Any one doing this? Thanks :)

Just use marine silicone on kight an speakers...only spots it could leak. I think there is a gasket in battery part...if not you can put some gasket goo in there. All set. Those vibratechs are very nice...if money is not an issue they are the best.

Hi Joe, thanks for your advice, I like it! Money is an issue, but I'm scared of ruining my pro pointer, it cost me $100. I think I will buy a vibratech. I have found a few beaches that I think would make it a sound investment. Thanks again, good luck dude, WW
