Did my annual trip out of town by myself. Made a little nest in the back of my Saturn and that's where I slept, in a parking lot. I took the Garrett family of detectors, hit two different spots, and here's what I found. That's the biggest ring I got in the last few years. I did the calculations, and at today's gold price, the gold alone is worth $304.00. It also has an additional 12 diamonds, and if they are real, that will bump it up some more. It's not a grad ring, but I am going to find the owner.

Here's how it weighed on my digital scale.

The Garrett Gals found out where I was detecting and drove to that spot to cheer me on........

That sure is a monster of a ring! Man, thats heavier than most necklaces... I hope to attempt a road trip like that sometime this year...go someplace far away and hunt, sleep in the car etc. Very nice!
