Woke up early this am to find a new skiff of fresh fallen snow.....maybe 1/2". The temp was cold....below freezing with a brisk cold north wind. Not a problem said I. I gathered my AT Pro and other tools of the trade, and headed out detecting later in the day. The finds shown are from my last 2 hunts including today. Lots of coins and many of them pennies. That reading in the 80's could of been a silver ring, but not today.
Although no rings showed up today under my 9" x 12" concentric coil, I did manage get a nice bracelet with some mother of pearl inlay and stamped MEXICO. From what I read, Mexico silver is is 95% pure silver and 5 per cent copper or other metals. In my books, silver is silver be it jewelry, coins or bars. I did hunt some woods today, and that's where I dug up that live ammo.
I dug a total of 7 tokens today. Unfortunately, I have multiples of each. If anyone wants to do a trade, let me know. I have hundreds of those SEX tokens I would gladly part with.
