Having a Sun Ray YF-1 myself I bet that will be a pretty positive review. It's a very nice (albeit expensive) product.

The more I use mine, the more versatile it seems and the more I like it. A nice feature which I've been taking more and more advantage of that is easily overlooked... Sensitivity adjustment via the ACE even increases it's versatility and speeds recovery!

You can go a long way by just switching between the probe and the ACE coil but the fact that the probe works through the detector allows me to increase (or even max-out) the Ace sensitivity when I switch to the probe. This, along with the faster swing really helps me probe those deeper targets before digging. Conversely, reducing the ACE sensitivity when switching to the probe makes the probe even less sensitive and often even simpler to locate the shallow targets or separate multiple targets, or get even closer to those playground structures.

One thing I continue to wonder about though. What really happens with the probe when I hit the switch and accidentally put it in GTP mode when using the ACE? My empirical observation is that it seems to work almost the same except the the target ID's seem to shift a notch or so on the ACE.

Looking forward to your review!

Another thing it's good for besides locating coins next to playground equipment is picking shallow coins out of nests of pulltabs. I just scan over pulltabs till I get a hint of a belltone letting me know there is a coin in there somewhere then I pop the probe off and scan that very spot and nail the coin.
