He left us this morning. A real dedicated husband, metal detectorist, a writer, a helper, a bundle of knowledge and a fine gentleman. I am going to really miss him. May he rest in peace.......

RIP Uncle Willy, A wealth of knowledge has been lost as well as a good man. His enthusiasm for detecting was addicting.... Well his writing style was pretty dang good as well.

this news is a shocker to me, I knew he was sick, but I always prayed he would pull thru, God bless him and his family, and I send my condolences

Damn. We hadn't heard from him in a while and I had a feeling it wasn't good. Him and his posts will be missed for sure. RIP Willy...

Very sorry to hear that. I doubt that he ever got to use the At Pro that he was so excited about last fall. RIP Bill

Damn that sucks !!!!! Always looked forward to his posts and was hoping to hear from him again. He will surely be missed. Rest in peace Uncle Willy.

Bill was a wealth of detecting knowledge, and he was kind to me. I always appreciated his tolerance of my newbie ignorance.

R.I.P Uncle Willy, you are missed!

We will truly miss all the time he has devoted to help so many of us over the years. His dedication, ambition and enthusiasm for this hobby have truly been an inspiration to myself and the many folks who still pursue it. Honesty, integrity and a person of high morals is the way I would describe Uncle Willy.
God Bless his family and loved ones!
WE WILL MISS YOU ,R.I.P.
TRIPLE-SSS

Good-Bye Bill.....we truly miss you....your abundant knowledge and your enthusiasm to share were a inspiration to all of us.....
