UNBELIEVABLE...PEACE DOLLAR!!!

REVIER

Well-known member
Never thought I would find one of these.
In a pubic park in an out of the way place on the edge between a frisbee golf goal and the fence next to someone's back yard I find this.
98-98 on the F70, 4" deep and I could have sworn it was going to be a full can.
Glad it wasn't...I am flying!

Great find Revier. I'm guessing you're not missing Kansas anymore. LOL

When I was there everyone seemed to be finding silver dollars.
Just kick over some dirt and they were everywhere.
I tried hard to find one but no luck and coming back here with the bad dirt and totally scoured public parks I figured I missed my chance.
I was wrong...hope I'm wrong again soon.

A Big congratulations! Amazing find in a public park! These days, I have a hard time finding a silver dime never mind a silver dollar. Hope this is just the beginning for you.

That is an amazing find. I detected a Kennedy 1/2 some time ago but to get a 1922 Silver Dollar is amazing:thumbup:

Terrific find!

Always loved those peace dollars! Wish I never sold my 1921 high relief! To me that's up there in the best finds catalog for sure. Gold coin, diamond ring, silver dollar! Got a 1921 Morgan a few months back. Oh what a feeling!!!!

I found a Walker half once and I thought that coin felt heavy.
This one brings me back to the instant I first picked this thing up out of the dirt and realized what it was every time I hold it in my hand.
Hope this high flying feeling never ends.

Nice hit REIVER. I can attest with 40+ years under my belt with this hobby, they don't come along all that often. Good save bud. HH jim tn

I have no doubt that with only 5.5 years into this hobby I am both extremely lucky and blessed.
