The Golden is a fun detector to use, it's my favorite Tesoro and one of my all time favorite coin hunting detectors. My Golden isn't as deep as a Vaquaro but it has adequate depth. I've dug a couple of silver dimes at 6 inches or a tad over, quarters at 8 inches and a chewed CW .58 enfield at almost 9 inches. That was using a 7 inch Shadow X2 coil. It also has good target separation and works well in trash. Link is to more info in an article on my website.
