Ultimate Gray Ghost Question

I have noticed while using the Ultimate Gray Ghost headphones on my Explorer, the noise induced clipping effect does not seem to have any effect on the amount of volume.
I'm running the volume at max on the detector and the headphone.
The volume is loud but when I push the button in for clipping, the volume remains the same.
Have any of you, who use this headphone noticed this?
The clipping effect worked fine on the Sov.
Thanks, Val

Val,
This goes the same for my Timberwolfs too and they will be a difference on the Sovereign and not the Explorer. I think the Explorer has the limiting curcuit built in to the detector and the switch on our Gray Ghost and Timberwols will make no difference.

it happens with all 3 pairs of GG and the timberwolfs as well.... plenty of volume on the explorer and no blasts I cant handle either... gotta be some sort of clipper built in
