Ultimate 13" vs. SEF 10x12

Just curious, if you have used both of these coils, which do you prefer? Why?

I have both of them, just got the 10x12 and just wanted some real world feedback on both of these coils. I have been using the Ultimate mostly, but curious how it stacks up to the 10x12.

Thanks a lot!!!

I also have both of these coils and think they are both hard to beat but I go with the 10x12 as far as my main coil just because of the better separation in trash and also the way it hits hard on targets. I think the 13" is better in cleaner ground but it still has great separation for it's size. Either coil is hard to beat on the e-trac

I prefer the 13" but the SEF does separate better and seems to be a bit better on very small targets. I love the way the 13" reacts, my favorite coil of all I have tried.

I have and have used both. I prefer the Ultimate but not sure why. I've found lots of goodies with both. Took me a while to get used to the ultimate but now that I've been using it for a while, I rarely remove it from my machine and hunt with it in even trashy sites with good results. I guess I like the little bit of added depth I seem to get with the ultimate. I've hit bullets with the ultimate on sites that I hunted with the 10x12 and didn't find. Not saying one coil is better than the other, sometimes it's just the user (or so I'm told....obviously though I feel better using the ultimate or I'd swing the slightly lighter 10x12 instead......lol).
