got out again in the woods, heard a pack of dogs coming , and was ready to du battle but they went another derection I was carring a hatchet and the lesh knife if one bit my leg i was ready to disconect his spine from his skull i dont play games with packs of dogs, i also picked off a deer tick from my belly button , but nevertheless i found a round ball and some more shot shell brass the winchester leader is befor 33 and I dont know much about the NOBEL,S-BALLISTITE N 12 NEVER SEEN ONE BEFOR (Alfred Nobel patented ballistite in 1887 whilst he was living in Paris. His formulation was composed of 10% camphor and equal parts of nitroglycerine and collodion.[4] The camphor reacted with any acidic products of the chemical breakdown of the two explosives. This both stabilized the explosive against further decomposition and prevented spontaneous explosions. However, camphor tends to evaporate over time, leaving a potentially unstable mixture ) I may quit this woods as the finds do not warent the risk of limes.

do you see a lot of wild dogs in your area? That is a very interesting ball. Do you think it is from a gun such as a muzzleloader? Hard to tell from the pic. Interesting information especially about using nitroglycerin. Well, those pesky ticks are all over the country gunnar. I think it will really be bad this year with being so warm. Stay safe bro - Jim

since a guy got killed by a pack of dogs its been better people are keeping them chained, but if they engage me i am ready to do battle and i dont take prisoners, soon the woods will be off limits because of the ticks I will not engage them in battle as they are armed with bio wepons. just have to wait for the cold. then i will have the upper hand
