When I dug this I thought it was just lead trash. My UK buddy, Brian, ID'd it as a Roman weight. It weighs 13 OZ which was the Roman pound. I took the photo next to a pack of cigarettes as I had no measuring device with me in the UK. It has a flat bottom and is cone shaped.

This find of Keith's is a Celtic (pre Christian) clothing fastener. Look at how the enamelling is still in tact. He was grinning ear to ear as he showed it to all of us. WTG Keith.
