JUST BEEN OUT AND HAD SOME ROMAN GROTS. THERE ABOUT 1CM EACH. AND VERY GOOD SIGNALS I CAN SAY. THE ONE IS SILVER BASED AND ALL WERE APPROX 5INCHS IN THE GROUND.
 
WERE I GO DETECTING THERE WAS A ROMAN FORT. SO I ALWAYS COME ACROSS THESE STILL YET TO FIND A FIBULA OR A TRUMPET BROOCH.

Nice finds! I'm surprised to see someone else still using a Treasure Ace300, thought I was about the only one who had one.:)
 
I don't even know what it looks like. Look anything like the Ace 250? I went to
the Kelly Co website but couldn't find one. Someone said they sell them there.

Just came back from a quick search from Google and found a picture of the Ace 300.
What odd duck. Kind of looks like the Scorpian with a different color and a concentric coil.
Bet it doesn't have VCO pinpointing either.

i love the ace 300 so good. i started out with a ace 250 and had some nice finds with it and then we had a baby so the tector went in the copbord and then sold it to a friend and a year later i got back into it. and i heard from the grape vine that there was a ace 300 for sale and it was only down the road so offered the guy 80quid for it as he only wanted 100 for it. and the rest is history......
 
I got my :garrett:Treasure Ace 300 probably 10 years ago. I'm not sure when they quit making them. Ain't nothin' like the Ace 250 thats for sure!
Probably wasn't one of their better tectors. But at least it got me started. I think it was a little better than my dads old BFO :garrett: from the mid 70's
tho.:)
 
Im getting the 4.5 sniper for it next.
