junklord, are you a movie producer that's giving us one line and a picture to make us interested so we will pay to see what it is all about in the movie? Where did he lose it. At the ocean beach, dry, wet sand or in the water, fresh water beach, plowed field, or maybe the park? Did he contact you or place an ad saying he lost it, or did you find it and try to find him? What detector were you using, and if it had a meter, what did the ring read and about how deep was it? Don't just give us the teaser, give us the whole story. Despite the lack of information, though, I certainly admire you for finding it for him.

It's no big deal returning a Ring anymore .I have returned 100's of rings. I own Ron Lord's Metal detector service in Naples Fla.
