Uk Hammered coin hunting with the explorers

I have had little luck in finding small hammered silver in the uk, has any any views as to the abilities of the explorer at finding hammered silver coins on farmland sites.
 
Hello there,
I use the Quattro and my tectin buddy uses the EXP II
We have found many hammered coins including cut halves and quarters.
You will have many diff.responses because of size/depth/quality and
amount of silver content...you just have to hunt in all metal and
dig every two way repeatable signal...many poor quality silver will appear in the area that produces silver paper etc. good luck to you and greetings from Wales...Paul.
