U/W headphone volume?

How are you guys contending with the loud volume of the underwater headphones on the A/T pro? I got a set yesterday and I cant even put them over my ears cause the sound hurts me its so loud! I am gonna have to wear them around my neck lol

Cut a piece of soft foam to fit to muffle out the sound. I do not have those headphones otherwise I would say that there has to be a way to open them up and maybe even put a small resistor or a volume control internally or even inline. This may void warranty and or make the phones leak so be careful as to what you choose to do.

I use a closed cell foam pad in each ear piece. If you can NOT blow air through the foam it IS closed cell foam. If air goes through the foam, the muffling will NOT be as great. A plus with closed cell foam is that it does not hold water. WaterWalker

The Closed Cell Foam Waterproof 1/2 inch which was on eBay ended March 11 for $11 + shipping. I'm sure more will hit the site. I would not go with anything thinner than the 3/8 which I used as that was what I had at the time. I have been using it for over two years on my Infinium which uses the same headphone. I now have to install the same sound reduction foam on my ATPro water headphones.

Another alterative is to use ear plugs which you can obtain at drug or hardware stores.

The ATPro water headphone will also work on the Infinium, but the Infinium's will NOT work on the ATPro. The reason is the speaker that the ATPro has. Electronically the ATPro water headphones cut off the speaker but the Infinium water headphones will NOT turn the speaker off. The land headphones will work correctly on either machine.
