Yeah Larry, we all have those days, I got 35c for a 2hr shift once. Next time I hit that area I got $21.45c, a 925 ladies ring and and old sixpence (1957). Take it on the chin and keep on swinging, every sweep is one closer to the loot! Live your dreams! regards Nugget.
 
when i have those types of days (which is quite often) i console myself with knowing that at least there's that much less garbage there

Same here. 4 hours hunting last night and I barely broke a dollar. The good thing was that there weren't too many pull tabs as in the past (possibly due to all the hunters). But, spring is around the corner and things will be picking up.

The best thing is: That you both got out together - and thats whats more fun.

Lisa told me today that a long handle scoop would be nice. Maybe I have a new :twodetecting:huntin' partner, too.
