not allot to holler about but I would like to see this forum pick up a bit,,,,,, found a1928 and a 1944,,,,, the forth 44 for me,,,, they musta made a bunch of them ~!!! HH all !!!!!
I found a 44' wheat myself yesterday along with a 56'rosie. I guess you me and me are the only CZ-3D guys not finding seateds and indians? I 'm hitting spots though that have been pounded to death by every machine ever made so anything is a good find. I have even gotten skunked with the big E at a couple of these sites. One thing that did shock me yesterday was one spot I hunt the soil is sandy and it has a lot of fill as I found my deepest dime yet with my current CZ-3D. And you know what is was? A clad dime at about 9''! I thought for sure it was a old one,But hey it still was fun to dig a coin that deep!
I think it's slow here because it is so dry everyplace. soon as it rains enough everyone will back at it again and posting their finds. I have a killer spot that should produce seated silver coins from the 1860' and 1870's but it is grown up in weeds until early next year, but we are headed there this weekend
to see if we might be able to hunt part of the grove and find a few coins to see just what might pop up there. This place is untouched and has to be full of coins and jewelry....just really hard to swing a coil there now....HH..........
know that feeling,,,, I was actually considering weraring my snow skies and sidestepping thru the grass to lay it down enough to hunt,,,but was afraid I might make a cornfield allien thingie !!!!
