Two Weeks at the River - 179 Quarters - 121 Nickles - 183 Dimes - 736 Penny's!!!! :angry:Etc:cam::cam:

Spent about 4 to 6 hours per day - 10 out of the 14 days at the river in 1' to 4' of water - all finds were in the water.
Rock bottoms were my choice - left the scoop and shovel in the boat 2/3 of the time.
Maybe some of you guys use this method?
Pinpoint and fan the bottom with your hand, then use the waterproof Vibra-Probe to locate the target-
Man - I couldn't go a foot with out getting a hit. 736 pennies!!!!!!!!!!

Take a ride with us down the Colorado River to one of our digs
We love it when the crowds go home!!

Awesome haul you brought in over that period of time. And just to think that the bit you found is just a small portion of what is left out in those waters. I bet your back was a bit sore from bending over that many times but it sure was worth it. Nice rings and Silver you recovered and may you have continued success on your next hunts. Congrat's and may you find some Gold next time too.

Nice finds from the river. I particularly like the scouting ring,I used to volunteer my time to the scouts back in Canada, that ring would have been sorely missed by its previous owner.

Is probably a key fob of some kind. You would attach that to your keys, and if you lost them, you just dropped them in a mailbox, and the Postal service would deliver them to he headquarters (the address along the bottom), and that organization would look up the code numbers, then mail the keys back to you.

I bet you filled a trash can with pull tabs and other trash too. Two weeks at the river and 40 to 60 hours of detecting, it doesn't get much better than that:). Great assortment of finds. Looks like you had a blast. WTG!

HH Randy

About five coins to every piece of trash -( 1/4th full - five gallon bucket worth of trash- )
no alluminum cans, they cant settle between the rocks
Pull tabs were non exsiting in the rocky areas in 3' from shore and out
Can't say that for the crown caps - But thats how you get nickles!!

In fact - I saved all the trash, but left it in the bucket in the garage at the river!!

Ill post pictures of the trash- When we go back to the river over the forth 6/28/06 - 7/5/06

Was a little skeerd that you got cross with the Guvner again. Glad to see everythings OK and yer back. You did great up there man. You really got the gears grindin' with me on a river hunt around here. Have never done it, but it looks to be lucrative. I'm in! Did I see a little color in that ring selection or was that a hallucination?

I still want to do the gold and ice dance at the river!!!!
My time is just around the corner!!
