two ways I deal with the tight 9v batteries in the 1236 or the Excel etc

I posted this idea years ago and still use it without any problem. Seeing how there is a lot of 1236x chatter lately, I figured I should post it again.

This may sound stupid, but if you can find a brand of battery that is not as "wide" if that's the right word.......I always stuck to just trying to buy those.
With the infinium, certain NIMh recharagables are too wide for the compartment. I had to return a couple before finding out Energizers were thinner & the ones I needed,,,,,,

Thanks for that Tony. I will be getting a 1236-X2 soon and this coul dbe just the idea needed.

I also used the same method as shown on the first picture when bought Duracell.
But finally I realised that simpler is better. Simply buy the Energizer or (I recommend) the Panasonic batteries.:)
This just two my cents. Of course, the author of these ideas is sharp as a tack.

Good luck and Happy Hunting!!!!

P.S. I's a pity but in Ukraine the huntin season is couming to the end. I am green with envy: there are some happy campers who can hunt on the beaches...:detecting::goodnight:
