Two Snow Guys Got Great Finds In The Frozen Tundra!:ninja::ninja:

It got up to -10 today, balmy compared to -30 last week. Digging wasn't easy, but we did the best we could. We did get some interesting finds. This old picnic site has given a lot of good finds in the past.

Here are some of the better finds fresh out of the frozen tundra. :)

Love that dart pendant. So much detail.

What did you use to dig ? I can hardly dig anything with my Barracuda shovel let alone a hand digger.
 
The only tool I can use without actually hurting my wrist is the samson shovel. Been using it for many years.........
 
Thanks John. That's the one I have but with the serrations on one side. The ground is just frozen solid right now.
 
Sampson is my clear favorite but without the serrations. I find them a hazard to my skin and a nuisance for catching roots and trash. I never saw where it helped me dig in tough roots. I have a big sharp knife in my pocket for that and it works mush better for me.
