Two Rings in One Scoop

Took the Tiger Shark out to the river and got a good hit about 5 minutes in. Took a scoop and got two rings in one scoop. The first one was shiny and looked to be 1 karat or larger diamond. The other one was really old with an older green stone. Put them in my pouch and kept hunting. Found a bunch of bottle caps and modern clad. The tiger amazes me at how hard it hits on rings nickels and coins in general. When I got home I showed my wife the diamond and she nearly keeled over. Upon closer inspection it appears it fake and it is a kids ring. My heart skipped a beat or two when I first saw it. Oh well! From what I have seen no ring or coin will be able to hide from the Tiger Shark.

Those junk rings sure do get the heart a racing. It sounds like you had an exciting day.

Yep my heart was a racing. I was so excited I was ready to just pack up and head home to show off the bling! Glad I didn't. I am really impressed at how hard this Tiger Shark hits on nickels and rings. Just have to keep at it and persistence will pay off. At some of the more popular beaches, I can see I am not the only one that has been there. My total on rings is three, but they were all junk rings. I have found many coins, mostly clad, a few wheaties, and am starting a big pile of bottle caps. I can't thank Tesoro enough for making such a great detector for such a reasonable price. I am wondering if the batteries will ever go dead on this thing, they last forever.

On land my amazing little inexpensive Silver uMax continues to be a coin vacuum cleaner. Silver will come as I am in an area where I am finding wheaties from 1911 on up. I'm not bummed about not finding silver, I just have fun every time I take the detectors out. I do need to get a better pair of headphones for the Silver uMax. Any opinions would be appreciated.

twill be nice to find a real diamond , but for the moment it must have been good , you keep at it young man that ring is coming

Thanks kaolinwasher, I will keep at because I am addicted! I just need the high water levels in the rivers to go down a little so I can hit the sweet spots.
