Two questions

On a Gold Bug Pro/DP it was posted how to check your ver. I think on the G2 you can't tell. My Gold Bug Pro is ver. 3 and I'm not having any problems with it. The newest is ver 4.

You can tell what version you have with either the G2 or GB.----Put your detector in the disc mode and then push the pp button before you turn it on and keep the pp button pushed in and turn it the detector on.---After a few seconds the version # will come on the screen.--The G2 or GB name will come on the screen first (depending on which detector you have), then the version # will come on shortly after but you have to keep the pp button pushed in & it has to be in the disc mode--(not a.m.).--------Del
