Two Questions if I may....

I'm a LandStar owner...

How often do you change batteries?
How often do you GB?

I ask as I have changed batteries after a only few hours use... and yes they were GoGoGo bunny wabbit kind

GB: After I Disc | Find Taget | Auto Notch to Confirm then start to PinPoint w/MD I get a huge taget... I GB and can zero in... This is after I GB'd to start... Is it normal to have to re-GB as you hunt?

I know I'm still Noobsauce... I have found my 1st few pennies... and Whatzit I'll post up later... I am doing better at not digging everypiece of scrap in the area...

if your machine starts to act erratic then reGB, when PP come off the target slightly and hit PP again to tighten you pattern, depth gauge will be off after retuning, my 3300 ate up batteries, i would guess 12 hours to a set.

I get about 8-12 hours on a set...that is using headphones, and leaving the detector on the whole time I am hunting...Depends if I am using cheapos or the good stuff...Rechargeables last only 4-6 hours tops...unless I use the true 9.6 volt variety, then I get 8-10 hours on my Land Star
