43' quarter, 42' S Mercury, nicest I've seen come out of the ground. Eight wheats, 33 dimes, man that Cutlass screams on those. 10 quarters, 2 rings, James Garfield coin/token.
Cutlass II, Ace 250 (wife's new machine)

Lot of hard work to get all that! Wow that Quarter and especially the Merc are in good shape! What is your secret for cleaning coins? Just with soap & water, with a tooth brush later on?

I see you used the Cutlass II rather than the Silver uMax.

Along with the 4.5" coil for trash, maybe look at getting the new 10 x 14

Now thats some good spot U have thear keep us posted

Thanks for that explaination and the very excellent cleaning tips. Some people use Aquarium gravel in tumblers.

"Wife just learning the Ace after using only Tesoro's, maybe more coil options later. She wanted to bend it around a tree the first hunt but is learning and liking it now."

As long as she did not want to bend the ACE around you.

Then maybe you should have bought your wife an analog metered Digital Target ID Tesoro machine like a new DeLeon or a second-hand Cortes instead of an Ace 250?

The Minelab X-Terra 305 is a very good choice also, but the Ace 250 should be fine once she masters it.

That mercury looks exceptional for a dug coin.

Congrats to you and your wife on the hunt!
