Two new models are:

Right..thats the difference 300 mm coil..translated to 12" for we Americans

Bad choice selling a detector with a 12" coil as the stock coil. It will lead to a lot of frustration for newbies.

Uh oh! I'm a newby and was thinking of the DFX 300, the Kelly Co package includes the pinpointer and a lot of other premiums.

I just had the Super 12" coil installed on my BHID! The one thing I can say is the pinpointing is right on unlike alot of DD coils! It's also lightweight and neutral buoyant (hits 20 to 30% better in depth and stability over the stock coil)!!!

Thanks!!!

My concern would not be depth & stability. IN fact own a 12" coil for certain situations. My real concern is the size. Large coils are typically designed for farms and other wide open spaces where you need to cover a more ground with each sweep. I would not use a coil of that size in wooded areas, and areas with a lot of underbrush or tall grasses. It would also be very difficult to separate good targets from trash, for example in schools and parks.

Just not my choice for a primary coil!

White's has already reached their peak...XLT..XL/pro..and a IDX Pro with a Mr Bills modification. The three best machines on the planet that can do everything and anything but dig your target...
