Two near misses on silver.

After I finished up some business today, I had to unwind at an old school house in the area. It is a community center now. After two hour there I finally saw someone. He came over to give me a lead on some old house foundations I would have to hike to. He found them while hunting and thought, if only he had a MDer. I will check them put on the topo maps.
Two almost winners. A dime and a quarter. They both are 1965. One year shy of silver. Two wheat's. The oldest is a 1940-s. This is the total minis the thrash.

The coins in WV are a lot greener then in Fl. Even the 81 and 76 are green. Does this tell you anything about the soil?

Enjoyable time of it, John. Nice on the lead, there. Maybe you should invite the guy along. In the future, be sure to show the trash, too.

The lead was a hollow point.
The big shot that interviewed me; I don't think so.
I could have showed the trash today. I don't show it when I have so much trash it won't fit in the picture.:rofl:

U Hoo John,
Hey that's a darn good haul for a couple of hours.
Yeah, as someone else said don't under rate yourself.

:clapping::clapping:

...too. But it never really panned out. In time, I dumped the false hope and went with fact - if I found silver, then I had a good spot.
