Two More Chances to Tempt Me Impact or Racer Gold?

Sven

Now if the Impact has features the Racer was lacking for jewelry and coin hunting, I would opt for the Impact, color wise as well.

Soon there will be three to choose from, Racer, Racer Gold, Impact. Good things come in 3's, they say.

Will be waiting to see reviews of the Impact and Gold. Since I am passing on the Racer, they have two more chances to tempt me..LOL

Personally would rather deal with the US Makro distributor, whom I purchased a bunch from with superb customer service than purchase from kellyco.

Waiting for the Racer Gold to appear..............

I will get to the Canadian Coin evaluations this weekend and use a few different models to get their responses, two will include the Nokta FORS and Makro Racer.

As for passing on the Racer, I wouldn't do that simply do to a poor-timing/inconsiderate posting of the Impact pre-order post. I am usually not drawn to some detector colors other than black or brown, but I am tied of too many black detectors, The Racer isn't a bright fire engine red, but a more attractive crimson or something. It's not a bad color, just different. There was a time when big name makers used a lot of colors for detectors.

If there was a Nokta model that gave the same adjustment features and end performance of the Makro Racer, and if it happened to have an addito9nal feature I would like and use, such as Iron Audio, then I wouldn't mind having one in my arsenal ... to complement my FORS CoRe and Racer, not to replace them. A good detector is a good detector.

Thanks for the coins and I'll get to them soon.

Good to hear you rec'd the coins.
I'm still interested in the Racer, Impact and Gold, just not 100% sure about them yet.
Always willing to try something different.
How the Racer will deal with Canadian coins would be a good indicator if I will give one a try.
Looking forward to your tests.
